Dog Stayed Loyally With 21-Year Old Owner After She Died Of Hypothermia On NY Mountain: Police
A cause of death has been released for the 21-year-old missing New Jersey woman whose dog was found alive near her body hours after she called 911 from an Upstate New York mountain last week.
Brianna "Bri" L. Mohr, of Brick Township, NJ, died of hypothermia on Thursday, Feb. 12, after she slipped off a trail near the summit of Mount Marcy just after 3 p.m., as previously reported by Daily Voice. Mohr called 911, but by the time rangers got to her around 9 p.m., it was too late. Mohr's dog, who was located near her body, was hiked to safety, officials said.

A Maryland man who stole a veteran's truck — with an ironically-named dog still inside — has copped to the crime in Pennsylvania, the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office announced.
Kenneth Crider, of Poolesville, pleaded guilty to a host of charges in connection with an incident in September 2024 outside a Tractor Supply in East Huntingdon Township.
Specifically, Crider pleaded guilty to robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, and flight to avoid apprehension on Monday, Aug. 25.

Margo Cook, 39, who recently started a new job at Boonsboro Elementary in Maryland, was hit by a car while crossing the road in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, on Friday, April 25, according to police.

Academy Award-winning actor Gene Hackman, his wife, and family dog have died at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
