A child was hospitalized after a dog attacked two people and chased a third, police announced on Friday, Nov. 7 at 5:15 p.m. Lancaster City Bureau of Police officers responded to multiple reports of an animal attack on the 400 block of Beaver Street, where one resident was chased by a roaming dog while two others were bitten, according to the release. A child was hit by a vehicle in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania State Police confirmed on Wednesday, April 23. The collision happened in the area of Mcilvaine Road and Lincoln Highway East (Route 30) in Paradise Township at 11:04 a.m., according to Lancaster County-Wide Communications. A boy is in the hospital after being shot in Central Pennsylvania, state troopers announced on Monday, Oct. 7. The unnamed child was taken in a private vehicle to Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital in East Pennsboro Township on Sunday, Oct. 6, according to PSP Troopers in Carlisle. The preliminary investigation has led PA State Police to believe the child was shot in Carroll Township, York County, although the investigation remains active. Patrol Car Strikes 5-Year-Old Girl, Philadelphia Police Say
A child was hospitalized after being struck by a police car in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday night, June 4, authorities say. A patrol officer hit a 5-year-old girl on the 1600 block of South Ithan Street just before 7:30 p.m., PPD said. She was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and is reportedly in stable condition. No one else was injured and the crash is under investigation, police said.
