A Palmer Township man known for hosting foreign exchange students was arrested following a fire at his home and is accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior with high school students, authorities announced Thursday, Nov. 21. Fire Destroys PA House; Photos Show Intense Blaze
200 block of West Pine StreetA fire destroyed a home in Cumberland County on Wednesday morning, according to officials. Fire crews responded to a house fire on the 200 block of West Pine Street in South Middleton Township around 9:50 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy flames and thick smoke engulfing the structure, as seen in photos from the scene. Details on possible injuries have not been released, but two people were displaced and assisted by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

DNA Testing Required In Fatal Fire At 124-Year-Old Harrisburg Rowhome: Officials
DNA testing will be required to identify a woman who died in a fire at a rowhome built over 124 years ago, authorities explained on Wednesday, Sept. 17 and public records show. Three apartments within the rowhome burned in the 200 block of North 15th Street beginning around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, according to the Dauphin County Department of Public Safety.
