Father-Son Trio Poached 50+ Deer, PA Game Commission Says
A Chester County father and his two adult sons were charged for poaching "dozens upon dozens" of trophy bucks, according to authorities. Carl Nelson III, 70, of West Chester, and his sons Carroll Nelson IV, 44, of Downingtown, and Mark Nelson, 40, of West Chester, are facing a total of 71 charges stemming from a multi-year investigation, the Pennsylvania Game Commission said. Two Seriously Injured In Head-On Downingtown Crash: Police (

A man and a woman are hospitalized after an early morning wreck on Route 322, Downingtown police say. A silver Honda Fit and a white Chevrolet Equinox collided on the 600 block just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, authorities said. Both were taken to Paoli Hospital Trauma Center while Route 322/Brandywine Avenue was shut down for more than three hours.
