A wrong-way crash on US Route 22 in Middle Paxton Township killed one driver and injured a woman and a 9-year-old girl, Pennsylvania State Police announced in a release issued on Tuesday, May 20.
A 2001 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling east in the westbound lane near mile marker 231.8 when it struck a 2016 Jeep Wrangler head-on around 7:02 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, troopers said.

Tonee Ellis a star wrestler at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, died following a car crash on Tuesday, Aug. 1, state police said.
Troopers believe the Norristown native was driving west on US Route 22 in Perr County when his car left the roadway and hit a tree, catching fire.
The 22-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a state police report.
Born in 2001, Ellis was a graduate of Methacton High School in Worcester Township, where he launched his athletic career, loved ones said.
