One Killed, Two Injured In Separate Bensalem Crashes Hours Apart, Police Say Bensalem police responded to two major crashes Friday morning, June 6 — one that killed a Philadelphia man and another that sent two people to the hospital. The first crash happened around 5:56 a.m. at the intersection of Street Road and Mechanicsville Road, according to Bensalem Police. Police say Aaron Mines, 29, of Philadelphia, was driving a Toyota Camry west on Street Road when he lost control and struck a traffic light pole. The collision happened when the Toyota driver, a 22-year-old man, ran a red light heading south on 63rd Street and was struck by the Jaguar traveling east on Lindbergh Boulevard at 2:25 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, according to police.
