A group of workers put their own safety aside to help a gunshot victim in Columbia, authorities announced on Friday, March 14.
The shooting happened on the 100 block of Avenue H around 12:13 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, according to Columbia police. An unidentified assailant shot the victim multiple times, leaving them with serious injuries.

A 20-year-old woman was shot in the head when gunfire erupted in a Lancaster Township parking lot, and police are searching for one of the alleged shooters.

After days on the run, the suspect accused of shooting a man in Washington Township, Lehigh County, and crashing into a telephone pole while fleeing has been arrested, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, March 3.
Adam Anthony Sosa, 26, of Allentown, was taken into custody without incident on Friday, Feb. 28, authorities said.
