Bethlehem Truck Driver Cited In NJ Crash That Snapped Pole, Knocked Power: Cops
A commercial truck struck a utility pole and crashed into a tractor trailer at a Paramus Starbucks early Saturday morning, May 24, causing power outages and traffic disruptions, authorities said. The crash happened at approximately 3:05 a.m. on Route 17 South, near Kayal Orthopedics, according to Paramus Police Chief Robert M. Guidetti. After hitting the pole, the truck veered into the Starbucks parking lot and collided with a tractor-trailer that was unloading a delivery, Guidetti said. Philadelphia Motorcycle Club Mourns Loss Of Rider 'BadKarma' Killed In NJ Turnpike Crash
A Pennsylvania-based motorcycle club is mourning the loss of one of its riders who died during a group ride on the NJ Turnpike over the weekend. New Jersey State Police identified the motorcyclist killed in Robbinsville on Saturday, Sept. 14 as Jeff Ford. Sgt. Charles Marchan said that Ford, 42, of Willow Grove, PA, was ejected from his bike in the outer roadway after it overturned in a series of collisions around 3:50 p.m., killing him.
