Federal Parolee, Sex Offender Busted Downloading Child Porn At PA Auto Repair Shop: DA
A convicted sex offender and federal parolee from Bucks and Montgomery counties has been arrested on accusations he downloaded child pornography at the auto repair shop where he worked, police paperwork shows. A Bensalem police detective was running an undercover computer program trying to identify devices within the county that were using the BitTorrent Peer2Peer (P2P) file-sharing protocol to download and share child porn, when he connected with a device at 749 Butler Ave., in New Britain on June 20, according to a criminal complaint filed within the Bucks County DA's office.
