PA Mom Charged For Giving Kids Guns, Teen Son Charged In Cousin's Murder
A Lancaster County mother is accused of giving her teenage sons access to guns used in a September shootout, police announced on Friday, Nov. 15. One of those sons has also been charged in his cousin's murder.
Brandi Whisman, 42, of New Providence, was arraigned Tuesday, Nov. 14, on charges of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors. Investigators said she gave her sons permission to take the guns whenever they wanted, providing a key and telling them where the firearms were located.

A third person was arrested for the shooting death of a Berks County teen on Friday, Nov. 8, according to an affidavit.
Gavin Will, 17, of Reading, was charged for his role in the death of 19-year-old Christian Disla in the 1300 block of Muhlenberg Street on Monday, April 1, according to the affidavit.
Will; Brothers, Luis Santos-Cruz, 19, of Reading; and Jonielle Cruz, 17, of Doylestown, acted together to ambush an unnamed second victim who Disla happened to be getting into the same vehicle with, the affidavit states. The second victim was uninjured.

Two men who pretended to be sheriff's deputies during a Bucks County home invasion were each sentenced to up to 10 years in prison on Wednesday, Nov. 6, authorities said.
Zbigniew Still, 22, of Philadelphia, and Jarrett Fort, 19, of Glenside, were sentenced after pleading guilty to a home invasion in the 100 block of Reliance Place, Hilltown Township, on May 25, 2023, according to a news release from the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.

A Pennsylvania man has been charged with murder of the mother of his child and her mother in their New Jersey home this week, authorities said.
Junior Edward, of Lansdowne (Delaware County), PA, smashed a first-floor window of the home on Harrington Circle in Willingboro, and shot Catherine Nunez, 33, with whom he shares an 8-year-old son, and her mother, Marisol Nunez, 54, around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. A Philadelphia man was sentenced to more than 24 years in prison for possessing 36 kilograms of fentanyl and running two drug houses with a citizen of the Dominican Republic, authorities said.

Two more men have been arrested following a fight-turned-shooting over a garbage bag full of marijuana at a Wawa parking lot, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and the West Goshen Police Department announced on Thursday, Oct. 31.
