Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Teen Driver In Lebanon County: PSP A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing a road in Union Township, Lebanon County, early Monday morning, Jan. 13, Pennsylvania State Police said. Jary Reyes Figueroa, 19, of Lebanon, was driving south on Route 72 in a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu when he struck 60-year-old Eric Meck in a crosswalk at Jonestown Road around 5:52 a.m., according to police. The area has marked crosswalks, as seen on Google Maps Street View.  Meck, of Jonestown, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS responders from Life Lion, troopers detailed. PA Man Struck Dead In Staples Parking Lot: Police A man was struck dead in Pennsylvania Staples parking lot, police announced on Wednesday night, on Oct. 23.  The elderly King of Prussia man was struck in a Staples parking lot, located at 1844 Ridge Pike in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, at 12:15 p.m., police detailed in the release.  There are multiple marked crosswalks in the parking lot, as shown on Google Maps Street View, but it is unknown if he was walking in one.  He was pronounced dead at the scene, the police explained. 'Medical Emergency' Caused Driver To Hit, Kill Norristown Pedestrian: Officials A pedestrian died on Tuesday afternoon, June 18 after being struck by a driver in Norristown, police say.  The victim was hit at West Main and Stanbridge streets just before noon and pronounced dead at the hospital an hour later, said city officials. Authorities did not report his name.  Investigators believe the driver, "an elderly male," suffered a medical emergency before striking the pedestrian on the West Main Street crosswalk.
