A 26-year-old Atlantic City man is charged with 13 counts of animal cruelty after he tortured and killed stray cats, authorities announced on Wednesday, July 9. Sanabia would lure the abandoned and stray cats in his neighborhood into his residence with food and then tortured, beat and killed them, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. Foster Homes Needed For 30 Animals Seized From Berks County Home
Rescue officials are desperate for help after 30 animals were seized from a home in Berks County. The Department of Animal Protection from the Animal Rescue League of Berks County was performing a wellness check when they removed 22 dogs, three cats, five snakes, and two geckos were removed from a home in Womelsdorf on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
