Man Serving Life Sentence Killed By Inmate In State Prison Cell: Montco DA
A 42-year-old inmate has been charged in the killing of another inmate at the Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution Phoenix, authorities said. Dwight Williams was charged with First-Degree Murder and Third-Degree Murder for the death of 67-year-old inmate Ashokkumar Guru in his cell on Sunday, Aug. 4, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Pennsylvania State Police Captain Gerard B. McShea.
