Woman Critical After Shot To Face: Philadelphia Police A 32-year-old woman was shot in the face in Philadelphia on Wednesday, Oct. 2, according to police. The woman was found with a gunshot wound to the right side of her face when police responded for a person with a gun in the 3400 block of North 21st Street at 10:53 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Philadelphia Police Department said. She was taken by the Philadelphia Fire Department Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital where she was placed in critical condition, according to police.
