Man Critically Hurt In South Philly Fire, Officials Say An apartment caught fire on Thursday, July 18, sending one man to the hospital with serious injuries, Philadelphia police said.  The blaze happened above a vacant barber shop on the 1900 block of South 22nd Street around 9 a.m., authorities wrote in a release.
