PA State Police Respond To Threats Across Mulitple School Districts Threats have prompted Pennsylvania State Police to increase their presence in schools across multiple districts, PSP Troop M PIO Nathan Branosky told Daily Voice on Friday, Sept. 13. 16-Year-Old Brought Gun To Chester High School, Police Say City police were called to Chester High School on Tuesday morning, May 28 after security found a student with a handgun, officials say.  Authorities said the 16-year-old student tried to pass through the school’s security checkpoint with a pistol around 7:50 a.m. The student was detained by the school resource officer, police said.  The firearm was recovered and a juvenile petition is being filed, police added.
