A federal investigation has been launched into more than 2.5 million Tesla vehicles after reports of crashes involving a system that allows vehicles to be remotely controlled through a smartphone app, officials said. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opened the probe into Tesla's "Actually Smart Summon" system on Monday, Jan. 6. A convicted murderer has been indicted for allegedly attacking a court security officer with a knife inside the Sylvia H. Rambo Courthouse in Harrisburg, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced on Thursday, Dec. 19. Joseph Louis Camino, 56, of Braddock, was charged by a federal grand jury in connection with the assault that occurred on Monday, Dec. 16, at 1501 North 6th Street. Students Targeted With Racial Texts At Lower Merion School District
Officials are investigating after several Montgomery County students were the targets of explicitly racist text messages that were also sent to Black and Brown students in several states since Election Day. The incidents occurred in the Lower Merion School District on Thursday, Nov. 7, according to a school district news release. Six students at the middle school level received the message.
