An Adams County couple is facing child endangerment and animal cruelty charges after authorities found their home covered in feces and urine with 63 Chihuahuas inside, Pennsylvania State Police announced.
Troopers responded to Ray Derita, 48, and Stephanie Derita’s, 47, home on Old Harrisburg Road in Straban Township on Friday, Feb. 7, for a domestic dispute. While there was no physical altercation, police said they immediately became concerned about the squalid conditions inside the home.

A Lancaster Township woman has started a GoFundMe after her husband died in an arson-suicide that left two of their sons and a family guest critically injured.
Sophan Duong, the wife of Simon Hen, created the fundraiser to support her family after the Sunday, Jan. 19 fire that destroyed their home on Wilderness Road.
The fire, sparked during a domestic dispute, began when Hen, 46, poured gasoline throughout the upstairs of the house and set it ablaze, police said. He died at the scene from smoke inhalation and thermal burns, according to Lancaster County Coroner Eric Bieber.

Shots were fired during a domestic dispute at an Allentown home Friday morning, July 26, according to city police.
