Timothy Eugene Root, 58, was charged with felony burglary, felony theft, felony retail theft, misdemeanor criminal mischief, misdemeanor possession of an instrument of crime, and receiving stolen property, police said.

Tristan Richard Zawick, 22, of Whitehall, and Jacquan Tanasse, 18, of Slatington, have been charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and criminal conspiracy to commit rape, officials announced on Saturday, Feb. 8.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in the brutal shooting death of Kenneth Kennedy-McLeod inside a Northeast Philadelphia convenience store, police announced on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025.
Siddeeq Shakoor, 43, was taken into custody by the Homicide Fugitive Unit and charged in connection with the fatal shooting, Philadelphia Police said.

2 More Arrested For Wild Car Meetups In Philly: Police
Two more arrests have been made relating to illegal car meetups in Philadelphia, according to police.
Joseph Cavanaugh, 21, of Levittown, and James Hare, 20, of Philadelphia, were arrested on Friday, Oct. 25, the Philadelphia Police Department said.
Both men were charged for their actions at a series of illegal car meetups that took place in various parts of the city beginning at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 and ending at 4:33 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, according to police.
Cavanaugh was charged with:
Aggravated Assault.
Causing or Risking Catastrophe.
Criminal Mischief.
