On Wednesday, Aug. 14 at approximately 7 p.m., police from the 1st District responded to a call about a person with a gun at 1500 Snyder Avenue. Upon arrival, they found 25-year-old Kaishef Johnson, a resident of the 2200 block of South 22nd Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. At 9:40 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded for a person with a gun at Park Avenue and Rush Street in the Glenwood neighborhood. The victim was identified as Kydair Strickland, police said. Man, 25, Fatally Shot In Back In Philly: Police A 25-year-old man was shot dead in Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 7, authorities said. At 1:23 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded for a person with a gun on the 1400 block of North 54th Street, in the 19th District.  Police transported the victim, who had a gunshot wound to his back, to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injury at 1:51 p.m.   The scene is being held, no weapon was recovered, and no arrest at this time. Deadly Early Morning Shooting Under Investigation: Philadelphia Police A man died from his wounds after he was shot multiple times Friday morning, Aug. 2, authorities say.  The shooting happened before 4 a.m. on the 200 block of West Somerset Street in Kensington, according to PPD. The victim, a man in his early 30s, was struck in the abdomen, right leg, and left arm, police wrote.  He was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead around 4:20 a.m., authorities said.
