A 43-year-old man who was accused of killing his parents and the family dogs with a sword entered a plea of no contest in September 2024. His trial was supposed to start Monday, Sept. 16. Grand Jury Indicts Inmate With Shank In Schuylkill County Federal Prison
A federal prisoner from York has been indicted for possessing a shank in a Pennsylvania facility, authorities said. Anthony Gilbert-Brown, 29, a federal inmate incarcerated at FCI Schuylkill in Minersville, was indicted Wednesday, Aug. 28 by a federal grand jury on the charge of possession of a weapon, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. Man From York Has Been Missing Since 2023: Police
A 32-year-old York man has been missing since December 2023, York City police announced on Friday, July 26. Stephen Calamia was last seen by his family in the area of 600 North Hartley Street in York, according to the police release.
