New details released in several Lehigh Valley crashes include those of a manhunt for a driver who left his passenger to die alone, according to a release by the Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan on Monday, Oct. 14. The most recent fatal crash happened in the 700 block of Central Boulevard in Bethlehem just before 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13. A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a sedan on Friday evening, Sept. 13 in Philadelphia, police said. A pedestrian was struck dead in Warminster on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, area police announced. The fatal crash happened at 220 East Street Road at around 6 a.m., Warminster Township Police detailed in a release. A 59-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle late Wednesday, Aug. 7, authorities said. At 11:52 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to an accident with injuries on the 5800 block of Broad Street in South Philadelphia East. A Subaru Ascent was traveling northbound on Broad Street when it struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the street, police said. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Investigators are now seeking witnesses to the deadly crash on Morgantown Road on Thursday morning, June 6. At least one person died in a wreck between Elverson Road and Ranck Road on Route 10 around 8 a.m., authorities said previously.
