The 39-year-old Lakewood man was found dead in Bushkill, Pennsylvania, on Monday, Aug. 26, a National Park Service spokesperson said in a news release. His body was spotted about 20 to 30 feet from the shore at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Body Pulled From Delaware River ID'd: Philadelphia Police (Update) A man who was found dead in the Delaware River on Thursday, July 26 has been identified, Philadelphia police announced in an updated release the following morning.  Darnell Dogan, 42, of the 4600 block of Ditman Street, was found near North Delaware and Linden avenues in Torresdale around 3:30 p.m., authorities wrote. He was pulled from the river by a PPD marine unit and pronounced dead at 4:20 p.m. on Thursday. Easton Man Dies Swimming In Delaware River: Coroner A 60-year-old Easton resident died while swimming in the Delaware River on Wednesday, July 24, according to the Northampton County Coroner's Office.  Louis A. Cosenza's body was recovered from the river in Williams Township, officials said in a release.  He was "using a floatation device" when he went into the water for an unknown reason and didn't resurface, the Coroner's Office said. First Responders Rescue Watercraft From Delaware River: Njsp First responders rescued a watercraft from the Delaware River in Burlington County on Sunday evening, June 30, authorities said. At about 5 p.m., New Jersey State Police troopers responded to a report of a personal watercraft stuck on a sandbar near Hawk Island in Delanco Township, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a NJSP spokesman. The craft was dislodged from the sandbar and escorted to a marina, Lebron said. No injuries were reported.  The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information is available, he said.
