A 58-year-old woman was killed in a crash in Upper Milford Township over the weekend, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office announced on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024. Jane E. Zamichieli, of Upper Saucon Township, died at 10:39 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, according to the release. Zamichieli suffered multiple blunt force injuries when her vehicle left the roadway, went down an embankment, and ejected her, the coroner said. A Montgomery County home was declared to be a total loss following what started as a garage fire on Sunday, Oct. 27, according to authorities. The home, located at 401 Shipwrighter Way in Towamencin Township was a total loss due to fire and water damage, according to Towamencin Township Fire Marshal Bill Oettinger. A 75-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a school bus on a Philadelphia street, police announced on Tuesday, Oct. 22. The woman was walking west on Chelten Avenue in the crosswalk at Chew Avenue at 3:01 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. 3 People Injured In Amish Horse-Buggy Crash: Lancaster County Dispatch
Three people were injured in a crash involving a horse and buggy and a truck on Sunday night, Oct. 20, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. The crash happened at the intersection of Nottingham Road and Little Britain Road in Little Britain Township around 7:40 p.m., according to LCWC. Three people from the horse and buggy were injured, but it was not clear if they were taken to a hospital. A 66-year-old motorist was killed when their vehicle slid off the roadway and went down an embankment Saturday night, Oct. 5, officials said. Stephen La Pierre, of Upper Macungie Township, was operating the vehicle that went off the roadway on Tilghman Street and into an embankment, overturning and ejecting him around 10 p.m., Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. An 18-year-old farm worker was airlifted on Monday, Sept. 16 after getting stuck in a corn binder machine, authorities said. The girl was injured on the 300 block of Wilson Mill Road in Lower Oxford, according to Pennsylvania State Police. She was in stable condition after getting stuck at about 11 a.m., Corporal Travis Hill of the Avondale Station said. Hill did not know what part of her got stuck in the machine.
