The politics professor at Immaculata University is a three-day champion on "Jeopardy!" with $54,001 in winnings, and he’s headed back to the buzzer on Wednesday, March 26.
Weikert earned his most recent win after correctly answering the Final Jeopardy clue in the Migrations category, bringing in $21,201 for the night and edging out his closest competitor, a Paramus, NJ dad and high school teacher, by just $1,200.
Back home in Montgomery County, Weikert is known for more than his quiz show success. He’s currently Chief of Staff for Pennsylvania’s 150th Legislative District, a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves, and the Chairperson of the Weikel Memorial Scholarship Fund, which raises money for veterans and their families studying life sciences or medicine.
He’s also a former lecturer at Villanova University, West Chester University, and Valley Forge Military Academy — where he once worked in both admissions and institutional advancement.
Catch Josh Weikert on Jeopardy! again Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
