Robert Phillip Kreider, 58, of Conestoga, was reported as having difficulty breathing at Lancaster County Prison around 5:57 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, according to a media alert from the prison. Cumberland County Prison Inmate Found Dead by Apparent Suicide: Officials A Cumberland County Prison inmate was found dead by apparent suicide, officials announced on Friday, Nov. 8.  Amanda Beth Dunkelberger, 48, was discovered unresponsive in her cell on Thursday morning, Nov. 7, at 8:45 a.m. Correctional officers performing routine rounds made the discovery and immediately initiated lifesaving measures. EMS arrived at the Carlisle facility at 8:55 a.m. and continued resuscitation efforts, but Dunkelberger never regained consciousness.
