Kreider Farms Box Truck Slams Into Elizabethtown Church
Emergency crews were called to a church struck by a box truck on Friday morning, authorities say. A Kreider Farms box truck struck Mount Calvary Church on North Holly Street by Hillside Avenue in Elizabethtown around 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 29, according to the fire department. No injuries were reported.

Pedestrian 'Incident' On I-81 At Maryland Border Clears: PennDOT
Part of Interstate 81 shut down in Central Pennsylvania on Friday morning, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler. The "pedestrian-related incident" happened at mile marker 1 on Sept. 22 shortly before 7:40 a.m., Schreffler detailed to Daily Voice. The southbound lanes closed between exit 3 to Molly Pitcher Highway and the Maryland border, according to PennDOT. The roadway reopened shortly after 9 a.m. "No more information will be released at this time," Schreffler said.

Man Killed Slamming Into Tow Truck In Central PA ID'd: Coroner
A driver who died after back-to-back crashes on Pennsylvania Route 581 has been identified, Cumberland County Coroner Charles Hall told Daily Voice. Alexander O’Donnell-Colella, 28, of Carlisle, died a the scene of the two crashes on Sunday, Sept. 17. The stinky spill happened in the 8100 block of Molly Pitcher Highway North/US 11 in Southampton Township, Shippensburg around 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 13. A van hauling a trailer flipped over by mile marker 39.4 on US 222 northbound near Peach Road, West Earl Township just after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. The crash shuttered the highway between exits PA 772 to Brownstown or Rothsville and US 322 to Ephrata as of 2:27 p.m. according to PennDOT. A milk tanker spilled on US 22/322 on Wednesday morning, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials say.
