The use of force in the deadly officer-involved shooting on June 9 has been ruled justified, thanks in part to videos found on the victim's cellphone, the Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo explained in a release on July 11. 1st Degree Murder Charge For Killer Of Pennsylvania Teen Featured In Documentary
Chay'nce Quadier King-Henderson's suspected killer has been apprehended and charged with first degree murder, according to Harrisburg police. Kaewon Kashif Layton, 15, of Harrisburg was arrested on Thursday for his involvement in the shooting death of the 16-year-old. King-Henderson was shot dead in the 2200 block of Berryhill Street on Thursday, April 1, around 1 a.m., as Daily Voice reported at the time.
