Just two minutes after midnight the first baby of 2024 came into the world at WellSpan York Hospital. Grayson Hayes Zornes was born at 12:02 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2024. The city's White Rose Drop had happened minutes before but we're pretty sure he did not care that he missed the festivities. This little boy weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 20 inches long. Not quite a strike of midnight birth, but baby Mattie was the first infant to come into the world in 2024 at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. Mattie Ann Eckenrode was born at 3:43 a.m. She weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 inches long. Her proud but sleepy parents are Renee Cuff and Matthew Eckenrode. Drunk Driver Hits Pennsylvania State Trooper Investigating Another DUI Crash In Lebanon: Police
A drunk driver crashed into a Pennsylvania state trooper's vehicle who was investigating an earlier crash involving another driver who was allegedly under the influence, Pennsylvania state police on Saturday, Nov. 6. The first crash happened in the 1800 block of SR72 in North Lebanon Township on Oct. 22 around 2 a.m., according to the release. Stab Wounds Found On Man In Lebanon Hospital But Police Cannot Find Crime Scene
Police in Lebanon City were called to investigate an apparent stabbing after a victim showed up at the hospital, but no one can seem to locate any crime scene. Lebanon City police were called to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital after the staff discovered stab wounds on a man under their care on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 1:47 p.m., th e police department explained in the release.
