Sen. John Fetterman Involved In Maryland Car Crash
Senator John Fetterman's office said he and his wife Giselle were in a two-car crash on Sunday morning, June 9. Maryland State Police said it happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 at Interstate 68 in Hancock. Fetterman was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe that struck the rear of a Chevrolet Impala "for unknown reasons," troopers said. "Out of an abundance of caution, they were evaluated at a local hospital," a spokesperson said. Newark Flight Attendant From PA Dies After Spinout Crash With Tractor Trailer On Route 78
Jennifer Friedel-Hoffman, a 60-year-old Pennsylvania resident, was killed in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey on Wednesday, May 29. A tractor-trailer was parked and unoccupied on the right shoulder on Route 78 West in Lebanon when a Subaru driven by Friedel-Hoffman entered the area and struck the left rear of the truck just after 9 a.m., New Jersey State Police said. A 33-year-old was struck dead in a head-on crash "on his way home from volunteering at church," Freedom Valley Church officials wrote in a Facebook post. A multi-vehicle accident shut down an on-ramp to Interstate 81 in Franklin County on Friday morning, May 17, according to PennDOT. State Vehicle Involved In I-78 Crash In Berks County, PA State Police Say
A crash truck was struck from behind on Interstate 78 on Monday afternoon, May 13, according to state police. Troopers said it happened around 2 p.m. near the Stump Road underpass in Maxatawny Township. The crash truck was stopped in the right westbound lane with its emergency lights flashing. A tractor-trailer was approaching from the west and "attempted to change lanes as the crash truck indicated," but was unable to do so or stop in time, state police said. Both vehicles suffered "minimal damage" and no injuries were reported, according to troopers.
