Jumbo Tron Part Of Funeral Details Released For PA Officer Shot In The Line Of Duty Funeral details have been released for Philadelphia Police Officer Jaime Roman who died months after he was shot in the line of duty.  The 31-year-old officer was two weeks away from his seventh anniversary with PPD when he died, Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said. Man Killed, Infant Shot In PA, Police Say (Developing) A double shooting has left a 25-year-old man dead and a 1-year-old boy injured, Philadelphia police announced late on Wednesday night, Sept. 4.  Police were called to the shooting in the 3200 block of D Street, in the 25th District, at 6:21 p.m., PPD detailed in the release.  The man "was shot multiple times throughout his body," the police said. The 30-year-old victim had been shot at least seven times when police found him on the 1800 block of North 28th Street around 10:25 a.m., a Philadelphia police spokesperson told Daily Voice. Plumstead officers responded to the Colonial Village Motel and learned that Claudio J Hernandez punched a woman in the head and then slashed her with a broken beer bottle multiple times around 8:40 p.m., Plumstead police said. Hernandez fled back into the motel room where he was taken in to custody by responding officers, police said.
