Two men were arrested and over $6,000 worth of illegal drugs and guns were seized in a warranted search of a central Pennsylvania home on Thursday morning, according to a release by police.
Steelton Borough Police, assisted by the Dauphin County Drug Task Force and the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team, warranted search of a residence in the 300 block of South 4th Street on Thursday morning, according the release.

A teenager has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting outside of a central Pennsylvania apartment complex, according to police.
Steven Roman, 16, of Steelton, has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Keshawn Maurice Carter, 20, of Lower Paxton Township, according to Swatara Township police.

A man on parole after pleading guilty to attempted homicide, has been charged with the murder of his former neighbor.
Daniel Edward Caraballo, 32, of Harrisburg, has been charged with the death of Jermaine L. Gould, 41, of York.
Gould was shot in the 700 block of south 2nd Street in Steelton around 6:45 p.m., as Daily Voice reported at the time.

Ismail Lewis, 39, was shot dead in his home in the 500 block of North Front Street on Sept. 2, 2020 around 1 p.m.
Marcus Edward Garner, 19, has been arrested for his role in Lewis’s murder.
Garner is accused of forcing his way into Lewis’s home to steal bank cards, but Garner was surprised by Lewis being in the home and shot him in the process of committing the robbery, according to court documents.

A fatal fire in Steelton was a murder-suicide, as stated by Dauphin County coroner Graham Hetrick during a press conference on Tuesday.
The fire happened at 441 South Front Street above Raja Market in Steelton on Friday around 6:15 a.m., as Daily Voice previously reported.
A grandfather Jafar Afshar, 67, committed suicide by using an accelerant to light his second story apartment on fire, burning his son and grandchildren alive, along with himself.
The son was Saeed Afshar, 36, died along with his two children, 5 and 8-years-olds.
