Human Remains ID'd As Missing PA Grandpa: Officials
A beloved 73-year-old grandfather has been identified as the human remains children found in a Central Pennsylvania park, officials announced on Friday. Robert Turner of Highspire was identified by "circumstantial evidence" after failed attempts to make a DNA profile, according to Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick in a statement by county officials on Sept. 8, 2023. Children Find Human Remains In Harrisburg Park
Children fishing and playing in a Harrisburg area park found human remains, police announced on Friday, June 23, 2023. The children found the bones "in a heavily wooded section of Reservoir Park," on Thursday, June 21, 2023, according to the Highspire Borough Police Department. Citizen's Fire Company #1 of Highspire came to the scene to help clear the brush and provided lighting so that Highspire Police and the Dauphin County Forensic Team could process the scene.
