A high-speed race between two young men ended with one dead and the other charged with homicide by vehicle, according to an update by police issued on Friday, Dec. 29. Brandon Caleb Gentile, 20, of Coatesville, has had a slew of charges leveled against him in connection with the crash that left 22-year-old Thomas "Tom" Austin Hartenstine, of Manor Township, Lancaster dead on June 4. Gentile was driving a white Subaru and Hartenstine was riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle when the two supposedly began street racing on Route 30 East, a witness told the police. …

Randy Keith Turner Jr. of the 200 block of Bethesda Church Road, Holtwood was pronounced dead at 2:55 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's office. A 22-year-old Millersville University student died in a motorcycle crash on Sunday, June 4, authorities announced the following day. Thomas "Tom" Hartenstine was riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 when he was killed in the crash on Route 30 in Manheim Township at 7:13 p.m., according to the Lancaster County Coroner and area police. Five disorderly conduct reports involving students behaving badly over three days at a Central Pennsylvania high school, authorities announced on Monday, May 15, 2023. The first incident was a fight that appears to have involved two 15-year-old girls on May 9, according to separate releases. Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a teenager who has been missing for over two weeks. Cheyenne Skye Wolfe, 15, of Millersville, ran away from Penn Manor High School on Oct. 18 around 10 a.m., according to a release by police. Wolfe may have gone to York City and could "be residing with associates," as the release states. Wolfe is described as a white female with hazel eyes and red hair who is 5 feet and 6 inches tall.
