A 53-year-old gunman seriously assaulted someone before he barricaded himself in his home and fired two shots on Monday, police announced the following afternoon. Scott Richard Golicher "was transported to the East Lampeter Township Police Department and later transferred to a local hospital by ambulance for evaluation before being released," as stated in the police release. A 38-year-old man video chatted a friend over the body of his recently killed girlfriend during an attempted murder-suicide— turned standoff—on Sunday, September 11, authorities say. A Chester County man is facing charges after police discovered that he had attacked and stabbed his 70-year-old father, leaving him with severe injuries, authorities announced Wednesday.
