Florida Man Struck Dead On I-78: Pennsylvania State Police A 49-year-old Florida man has died following a hit-and-run on Interstate 78, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Saturday, Aug. 24.  Jymel Dejuan Smith of Clermont is a trucker, according to his social media, he had pulled his tractor-trailer over on I-78 West near mile marker 41.5 in Greenwich Township at 4:54 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, PSP Hamburg Trooper Brian Roland detailed in the release.  While standing next to the tractor-trailer another vehicle struck him and fled the scene, Roland wrote. NJ Man Who Stabbed PA State Trooper 'Numerous Times' In Berks County ID'd A Pennsylvania State Police trooper was stabbed while serving a warrant for a New Jersey man in Berks County on Saturday, according to multiple releases by Trooper David Beohm.  Two troopers were sent to serve a 302 warrant, which is for involuntary mental health commitment, for 27-year-old Bradley Odenath of Pine Hill, NJ. Bar & Grill After Bartender Refuses Alcohol Service A Schuylkill County man falsely reported a fire to 911 dispatchers after being refused alcohol service for being highly intoxicated at a Berks County bar & grill last month, authorities said. David Reynolds, 47, of Orwigsburg called 911 to report that he saw the kitchen of Westy Bar & Grill on West State Street up in flames around 4 p.m. on March 2, according to the Tilden Township Police Department.
