A West Lampeter Township man accused of stabbing his father in the neck, causing life-threatening injuries, waived his preliminary hearing this week, the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office said.

A 75-year-old man has died following a crash in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Friday, Nov. 22.
Dennis J. Allen, of Quarryville, was driving a car when he approached a stop sign at the intersection of Kirkwood Pike/Route 472 and Stuart Run Road in Colerain Township on Monday, Nov. 11 at 7:31 a.m., according to police.
Allen attempted to turn left onto Kirkwood Pike/Route 472 but failed to yield the right of way to another car traveling down the road, police said in a release. The second car tried to brake but couldn’t stop in time, leading to the collision.
