Hearing On Challenged Provisional Ballots In Lancaster Scheduled: Officials After numerous challenges to provisional ballots in Lancaster County officials have scheduled a hearing according to a news release on Friday, Nov. 8. "The Lancaster County Board of Elections has voted to convene the canvas of mail in and provisional ballots," the release states. The hearing to conduct the canvas and review the challenges will take place in the Commissioners Meeting Room located at 150 North Queen Street, Suite 701 in Lancaster on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m., as detailed in the release. Mail-In Ballots In One PA County Not Scanning Correctly, Commissioners Say The first round of mail-in ballots in one central Pennsylvania county are not scanning correctly due to a printing error, county commissioners say. When the Lancaster County Board of Elections begin opening and scanning the first batch of ballots at 7 a.m. on election day, Tuesday, May 17,  "it became immediately apparent that a significant number of the mail ballots did not scan," the county commissioners said in a release to the press.  The ballots were printed by the mail ballot vendor, NPC, with the wrong identification code.
