Maryland Ironman Winner, Dallastown HS Teacher Killed In Bicycle Crash: Officials
A former Ironman Maryland All-Around winner and popular Pennsylvania high school teacher was killed in a bicycle crash in York County, friends and officials announced on Monday, July 29. Joseph "Joe" Klinedinst, 48 of York, died at the scene of a crash at the intersection of Mt Pisgah and Ducktown roads in Hellam Township at 11:55 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, according to the coroner's release and later identified by family friends and a county commissioner. Army Veteran, Stephen Glaus is getting ready to compete in his fourth Ironman— (this time internationally) after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in August 2018. Three weeks after his MS diagnosis Glaus "was unable to see, walk, or even control my bladder. I woke up multiple times having wet the bed.
