Action News has released the names of the pilot and team photographer killed in a helicopter crash Tuesday night, Dec. 19 in New Jersey. Monroe Smith, 67, of Glenside, PA, was the pilot, and Christopher Dougherty, 45, of Oreland, PA, was the photographer, according to the news station. Theodore 'Ted' Farwell of the Benton and Orangeville area, was crop dusting when an electrical line was struck near Nescopeck, multiple authorities explained. A medical helicopter heading to Philadelphia from Maryland crashed Tuesday in Delaware County, according to sources and developing news reports. A K-Copters 47G-2 helicopter crashed at Lititz airport, on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 11:30 a.m., as Daily Voice previously reported citing the FAA. Helicopter Crashes At Lancaster Airport
One person was injured in a helicopter crash at Lancaster Airport Saturday morning, county dispatch told local news outlets. A K-Copters 47G-2 helicopter crashed at Lititz airport, at 11:30 a.m., according to the FAA. Two people were on board. One person was able to escape while another was injured, and transported to a local hospital, abc27 says. The nature of the injuries were not clear. Manheim police reported to the scene, which had been cleared as of 1:30 p.m. The FAA was investigating.

Helicopter Pilot Injured In Reigle Airport Crash
A helicopter crashed at Reigle Airport in South Londonderry Township left one man injured on Saturday. Emergency crews were called to the airport for the crash around 6 p.m. and remained on the scene for four hours. The pilot, a 68-year-old Mechanicsburg man, was injured when the helicopter crashed, according to police. The man was taken to the hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the FAA and NTSB.
