Kipona Fireworks, Drone Show Canceled In Harrisburg: Officials Independence Day violence continues to haunt Harrisburg, leading to the cancelation of the drone and firework show at Kipona, Mayor Wanda Williams announced on Wednesday, July 24.  The cancelation is due to "serious incidents during the fireworks displays at two of the last three July 4th shows," Mayor Williams said. Deadly Shooting Under Investigation In Harrisburg: Police One man was shot and killed in Harrisburg early Friday, July 5, city police say.  Officers responded to gunfire on the 1100 block of North 3rd Street around 1:30 a.m., authorities said in a release.  They rendered aid to the victim at the scene and he later died from his wounds, officials wrote.  The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call  717-558-6900.
