U-Haul Explodes In Pennsylvania: Fire Officials (Photos) A garage and a home were damaged when a U-Haul truck exploded spraying someone's personal belongings in a Pennsylvania neighborhood, authorities announced on Monday, Sept. 2.  The explosion of the 2022 Ford F-650 U-Haul box truck happened in a driveway in Lafayette Township at 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1, authorities explained.  "The fully loaded 26-foot vehicle contained household and personal items," Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Rescue stated in a release.  The total cost of the damage to the U-Haul is estimated at $50,000, according to police. Police rescued one person from the rubble while the other walked out of the Cornucopia Avenue home her own around 12:30 p.m., abc6 reports. SEE Anything? Police Look For Witnesses As Lancaster Co. Coroner Attempts To ID Crash Victim A fiery crash has left one man dead and the police with questions. Susquehanna Regional Police were called to the crash at 1350 Colebrook Road in East Donegal Township on Wednesday just before midnight. Upon arrival, officer's observed a vehicle fully engulfed in flames in the roadway. The Maytown-East Donegal Township fire department was called to the scene to extinguish the fire.  A full station response was required for the vehicle accident with entrapment involving fire, according to the department.
