Driver Killed Fiery Crash ID'd By Lancaster County Coroner
The man who became entrapped in his vehicle died at the scene of the crash has been identified, the Lancaster County Coroner's office announced on Thursday, Aug. 15. Brian Lewis, 52, of the 1600 block of Slate Hill Road Drumore Township, died at the scene of a crash in the 1300 block of Slate Hill Road near the intersection of Tanning Yard Hollow Road in Drumore Township, Pennsylvania State Police Troop J announced. The woman killed in Tuesday's second fatal fire has been identified by the York County Coroner's Office. Jo C. Zartmen, 71, was found dead in her home on March 12, according to the Northern York County Regional Police Department and the York County Coroner's Office. A 45-year-old Central Pennsylvania man died after a tree fell on his home early Monday morning. Scott Quickel has been identified as the man killed in this tragic tree fall, the Cumberland County Coroner Charles Hall told Daily Voice. A 69-year-old grandpa died at the scene of a head-on crash on Monday, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Aug. 24, 2023. Ernest Bowens of Shippensburg was driving a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder south on the 9000 block of Olde Scotland Road in Southampton Township when he crossed over the double yellow line for an unknown reason, state police explained in a release. Motorcyclist Killed In Central Pennsylvania Crash: Police
A motorcycle rider died at the scene of a crash in central Pennsylvania on Saturday, August 20, police say. Manor Township police were called to a crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Seitz and Manor Church roads at 7:22 p.m., according to a release by the department. A Maryland Assistant Attorney General died in a motorcycle crash in York County on Sunday. Patrick “Pat” Henry McCormally, 41, of the 5000 of Ridgedale Road Baltimore, Maryland, died at WellSpan York Hospital at 3:46 p.m., according to the York County coroner’s office. One person is dead and another has been injured after being ejected from a vehicle that rolled over along Black Horse Road in Paradise Township, on Monday, according to Pennsylvania State police. Man, 85, Dies 5 Days After Crash In York
A three vehicle crash became fatal after an 85-year-old man died at WellSpan hospital, according to the York County coroner. Edward Reed, of the 300 block of Clark's Way York Township, died five days after he was seriously injured in a three vehicle crash in Springettsbury Township. The crash occurred at Locust Grove Road and Eastern Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25. He was pronounced dead at 4:45 a.m.on Sunday, May 30. Reed's death has been ruled an accident. There will be no autopsy.
