Enola Felon Attempts To Kidnap Girl At Sheetz, Police Say
A convicted felon has been held without bail after attempting to kidnap a girl at a Pennsylvania Sheetz, police announced on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Jared Michael Sweigard, 42, of Enola, was arrested on Sunday, Oct. 13, after multiple kidnapping attempts, according to police and court documents.
The first incident happened at the Sheetz Convenience Store and Gas Station located at 1158 River Road in Marietta, according to the police.

Authorities in Berks County have charged the grandparents and uncle of a 6-year-old girl who died of dehydration earlier in May, they announced Monday, Aug. 5.
The victim was in the care of her grandmother, Jazmine A. Rodriguez, her grandfather, Manuel Rodriguez, Sr., and her uncle, Manuel Rodriguez, Jr., in Reading when she died of dehydration and prolonged exposure to high ambient temperature due to child neglect on May 28, Berks County District Attorney John T. Man, 22, Stalked Woman Online, Imprisoned, Assaulted Her At Northampton County Home, Police Say
A 22-year-old man was jailed after police say he stalked a woman on social media and assaulted and imprisoned her at her Northampton County home.
Zachary Tyler Petrucelli is accused of randomly contacting the woman several times on social media, Lower Saucon Police said.
After the woman asked him to stop and blocked him, Petrucelli allegedly went to her Hellertown home, cornered her in a room and held her down by her wrists on August 13, according to police.

A violent sexual predator in Dauphin County has been sentenced to 101 up to 202 years in jail, according to the district attorney.
James A. Dubuisson, 44, of Lower Paxton Township, was sentenced Wednesday following his jury of rape, burglary, strangulation, unlawful restraint of a minor, false imprisonment of a minor, terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault, and tampering with evidence.
