Flipped Equipment Closes Rt 222 Ramp In South Central PA (Developing) Equipment rolled off a trailer at an ramp entering Route 222 ramp in Lancaster County on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 29, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation' 511PA traffic cameras. The equipment flipped over at the ramp to Route 222 South from Route 322 in Ephrata Township around 12 p.m., as shown on 511PA. The ramp closure is causing delays on Route 322.  Check back here for possible updates.

Firefighter Injured At Martin's Country Market Multi-Million Dollar Fire In Ephrata (Photos) A firefighter was injured and Martin's Country Market has announced that it has closed "indefinitely" following a massive fire early on Thursday, Feb. 15. The fire broke out just before 4 a.m. at the popular market located at 1717 West Main Street in Ephrata Township, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.  The fire shuttered Route 322 in both directions between Wood Corner and Robert roads, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation explained. Unique Motorcycle Stolen From Central PA Car Dealership: Police A unique motorcycle— that looks more like a high-end sports car—was stolen from a central Pennsylvania car dealership on Saturday, July, 16, police say. The red 2016 Polaris Slingshot pictured was stolen from a car dealership in the 400 block of North Reading Road, Ephrata Township, according to area police. Man Found Guilty Of Attempted Manslaughter For Shooting Over Snapchat Post, DA Says An Ephrata Township man has been convicted of five counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter among other charges in connection with a shooting in July 2020, according to a statement released by the Lancaster County District Attorney's office. Mark Ivie Jr., 21, shot at a group of men with an AR-15 rifle after an altercation at the Ivie’s Ephrata home on Blackberry Lane that began over a Snapchat argument, according to the release.
