Boil Water Advisory Ends In York, Cumberland Counties: Penn American Water Co. PA Convict Escapes Police— Again, Authorities Say A 23-year-old convicted drug dealer and escapee has escaped from police— again, police announced on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.  Dayquawan Martaze Long was last spotted acting suspiciously at the Mcdonald's located at 425 North Enola Road around 2 a.m. on April 5, 2023, the East Pennsboro Police said.  Officers arrived and made contact with him and quickly identified him as the former convict who was wanted on "several warrants for his arrest," but as that realization was made he "fled from officers on foot," as stated in the release.  "An investigation found that Long was in pos…

Police Release Details In East Pennsboro Shooting Police have released details in last weekend's double shooting in which a 78-year-old man apparently shot his wife and adult daughter, leaving the wife hospitalized and daughter dead. Police on Saturday were called to 52 Greenmont Drive in Enola, where a man later identified as John Miller was arguing with his adult daughter, East Pennsboro police said. Responding officers deemed the situation "civil in nature," and left the scene. However, a short time later, police got a 911 call from Miller, saying he had shot and killed his wife and his daughter, authorities said. Officers arrive…
