PA Man Who Struck Amish Teen Dead Sentenced, 'Not Their Place To Judge' Community Says A Lititz man who pleaded guilty to striking an Amish horse and buggy — killing an Amish teen — has been sentenced by an "English" judge but the local Amish community apparently feels differently about the tragedy. Phillip Cornelius Sullivan, II, then 18 years old, driving a 2009 Lexus Sedan, struck a horse-drawn buggy, ejecting the driver, 18-year-old Andrew J. Stoltzfus of Honey Brook, before fleeing the scene, according to the police. Philip Sullivan, 18, of York County stuck a horse-and-buggy (a sulky type cart) in the 5700 block of Division Highway on Monday at 2:46 a.m., say police. Derek Charles Lawson, 23, was spotted in the 600 block of West Main Street in Earl Township at around 11:23 p.m. on June 5, say police. Police attempted a routine traffic stop of a motorcycle with obstructed plate near in the area of West Main Street and South Shirk Road in Earl Township.
