PA Man Accused Of Murdering, Dismembering Roommate Commits Suicide: Coroner
A Lehigh County inmate accused of killing and dismembering his roommate last year has died by suicide at a hospital, the coroner announced on Sunday, Jan. 12. Joshua Douglas Moser, 34, of Allentown, was pronounced dead at 3:41 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. Missing Man Found Dead In Pennsylvania Quarry: Coroner
A man reported missing in late November was found dead in the water of an underground quarry in Slatington, authorities announced on Thursday, Jan. 2. Jesse James Rutt, 41, was discovered in the quarry on the 300 block of East Church Street and pronounced dead at 11:34 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. Pennsylvania's Michael Horvath on Friday, June 17 was found guilty in the 2013 murder of his co-worker, Holly Grim. Michael Horvath, 55, was convicted on charges of homicide, kidnapping, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse, but was acquitted of obstructing law enforcement.
