A truck carrying avocados has spilled on Interstate 81, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials. The tractor-trailer, "failed to make a curve" from the I-81 North ramp to US 22 around 8 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023, PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler explained. A 12-year-old boy has been identified after he was shot during a sleepover in Red Lion. Kain Heiland was pronounced dead at 9:48 p.m. on Saturday,April 1, 2023 by York County Deputy Coroner Scott Pennewell, according to a release by the office the following day. A military airplane had fumes and smoke in the cockpit when it was forced to land at Harrisburg International Airport around 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
