Five vehicles were involved in two crashes that left five people injured in Lititz in approximately 24 hours, the Northern Lancaster Regional County Police Department announced on April 9. The first crash involved two vehicles and it happened at the intersection of Pine Hill and Clay roads on Monday, according to a release by the department shared on Tuesday morning. One person has been taken to the hospital and a horse has died at the scene of a horse-and-buggy crash involving a SUV on Wednesday, June 8, authorities say. Police were called to the crash along Clay Road near Lititz at 7:24 a.m., according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. A white Subaru Forester went up a hill and slammed into the Amish Buggy from behind, according to a LCWC supervisor. Truck's Emergency System Calls Police To Lancaster Crash That Injured 6 Including Kids
A three-year-old and a five-month-old were among the six injured in a crash in Lancaster County on Saturday, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional police. The crash occurred at the intersection of Clay Road and Pinehill Road in Lititz, Warwick Township around 8 a.m. Dispatchers learned of the crash when "automated in-car reporting systems indicated that sounds emanating from the crash scene included screams and crying," police said in a statement.
